Even though football is widely considered an American sport, the stadiums in which the games are played are not as large as some other event centers throughout the world. North Korea's May Day Stadium, for example, seats over 150,000 for soccer games and other events, surpassing other notable stadiums such as the University of Michigan's football stadium (largest in the US with 107,000 seats) and the Louisiana Superdome (approximately 75,000 seats) in size. In sports and real estate, bigger is truly better!
