A bridge can make any piece of land seem regal, which may explain why the world's highest suspension bridge is the Royal Gorge bridge in Colorado. Spanning a canyon over the Arkansas River, the suspension is actually a bridge to nowhere, considering it connects to a road that circles around the canyon and ends up right back where it started!
